Full-stack project management system for IT consulting firm

The Brief

AgencyTech was using multiple systems to manage their projects, clients, and internal processes.

After piloting various off-the-shelf solutions, they found that none met their specific needs or provided the level of customisation they required to work most effectively.

We agreed a bespoke solution would be the best way to meet the business requirements.

The Solution

I led the development of a full-stack project management system, built using a modern NextJS + Supabase stack.

Some of the key features include:

• Project and task management allowing users to view, filter and sort according to their individual needs
• Time tracking with the ability to quickly log time against specific tasks and projects
• Client management allowing the team to store and update client information, communication history and billing info
• Billing management lets the team quickly draft and issue invoices, integrated with AgencyTech’s accounting platform
• Process wiki stores the SOPs used across the business in a simple format for team members and AI agents to access (via MCP)
• Client portal allows clients to login and access details relevant to their account with AgencyTech, including billing and docs.
